At the recent AESOP/ASCP conference in Dublin, resilience was one of the conference themes. In particular, the keynote speech from Susan Fainstein introduced an interesting debate on the usefulness of the term and the willingness of academics to grasp 'new' fashionable concepts without much critical thought.
